“FAM” mark was created by an artisan in 1976.
Starting from a motor parts shop and with the valuable aid of his wife, Mr. Rocco De Carlo decided to concentrate his attention on a particular product: the automotive battery.

It tooks many years of studies, investments and tests to get to produce a very good battery with a reasonable price and, thanks to their great care and ability, they made a name for themselves in the market and could create a large clientele that is still bound to the “FAM” mark. In fact, initially, the customer satisfaction was the best advertising thanks to the positive order passed by word of mouth.

In 1991 took place a turning point with the purchasing of a bigger factory and the creation of a valuable and harmonious team which allowed to expand more and more in the battery industry, enlarging range of selling models to better satisfy the requirements of a more and more exigent market.

Besides traditional starting batteries for cars, trucks, tractors and motorcycles, they are now available: an AGM/Hermetic line for antitheft devices, ups and any kind of electrical vehicles; a traction line and Trojan batteries line for platforms.
One of the most important line of products of this factory is FAM SUPER NOVA, an innovative line for internal services of boats and recreational vehicles.

To really satisfy all the requirements of customer, in the very recent past, it has been created a special line FAM SUPER NOVA HI-FI, which can give very high performaces to all those vehicles which need a big cranking power and a big energy to keep working all the internal accessories.
